Just a quick post (I know I’m a bit late and whatever, but still).

All I want to say is Happy New Year to all, and I hope it’s a good one

I’m just about to install the 64-bit version of Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon), and I put the disc in while I was still in Ubuntu, and I noticed something strange on the root of the disc. There’s a file called wubi-cdboot.exe and I can’t figure out why it’s there, because as far as I know, Ubuntu doesn’t officially support Wubi.

If anybody could shed some light on this it’d be nice Also bear in mind it’s one of the official pressed CD’s

Sorry there’s been no update over Christmas, I’ve been busy as I’m sure everybody else has Hope everybody has had a good Christmas and has a great New Year, I’ll post more in the New Year

Had to play at the Baptist Church this evening. Went alright, messed up one song, but it was fine.

Got a shock afterwards when the minister (privacy and whatnot means I won’t name anybody…sorry, lol) asked me what I thought about going to South Africa.

Didn’t get what he meant at first, but it’s July next year, basically missionary work etc. Not sure if I want to go…though it would be an experience. Anyway, enough of that, I’m sleepy.

I’m interested to see that Mclaren are pursuing a claim that Sauber & Williams did not get punished for rule infringment, which could mean that Lewis Hamilton becomes World Champion after all. We’ll see what happens there.

Also, am I the only one that thinks Insurance is just a big legalised con? You pay to drive on the roads anyway, and then you have to pay just in case you crash. It’s just not right, there’s surely a better way to do it. Anyway I’ve just cancelled mine, as my car’s been off the road for far too long for my liking.
